Sharing a recent youtube film by Neil of his recent ramble, in the heat, from White Horse Hill along the Ridgeway to Wayland Smithy. This is a walk that Richard Jefferies would have enjoyed and which he wrote about. Wayland Smithy partly features as the dolmen in Greene Ferne Farm (1880) when Margaret Estcourt is lost in the mists on the downs with Geoffrey.
