RICHARD JEFFERIES SOCIETY SPRING LECTURE -- SATURDAY 8 MAY 2021, 2pm.

 

Conor Jameson will be delivering the Richard Jefferies Society’s Spring Lecture via Zoom link. He will be exploring the influence of Richard Jefferies on the life and work of W.H. Hudson. To 'attend' the lecture, please send an email to richardjefferiessociety@btinternet.com.


Conor Jameson is currently writing a book about W.H. Hudson. His other passion is the goshawk. He has written two books for Bloomsbury―Silent Spring Revisited (2012) and Looking for the Goshawk (2013) and also articles for The GuardianBBC WildlifeThe Ecologist,  Birdwatch and Birdwatching magazines. He has been a scriptwriter for the BBC Natural History Unit. His 2014 book Shrewdunnit: The Nature Files, is a compilation of many of his essays, published by Pelagic, and has worked in conservation for about 30 years, in the UK and abroad.
